No thank you. Not remotely interested in seeing them. Tickets must be really struggling if they are giving tickets away for free, but even though they're free I'm still not tempted.

I don't think that sales are struggling, we had Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart before and those concerts were sold out I believe - I remember people walking around the O2 looking for tickets!
They do ask for ID but funnily enough I had a bundle of printouts for Rod Stewart in different names and I had only ID for one name which didn't seem to matter. So as long as you have some kind of ID you should be fine.
And remember to bring an extra bottle top and hide it on you as they will take away all bottle tops if you bring in a drink! And eat beforehand somewhere else as you will not get a seat in any O2 restaurant on concert days - the queues go out the door!

I got tickets and will be coming if I can find someone to come with me _ I don't think I have the courage to go on my own to this one

Yes, they did for Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart though once I had shown my ID to get my tickets they let me have another pair belonging to a friend who was coming later without asking for any ID at all!

Gutted I missed out on Guns n Roses!! Left my desk for 20 mins, by the time I returned they'd been and gone!!

Bon Jovi I wasn't asked for ID, Rod Stewart I was and just showed a bank card, if you haven't been before you need to exchange your print out for tickets at one of the Ticket Booths outside, it will have See/Show Film First above it and a queue of people clutching A4 pieces of paper!! lol

Hope everyone lucky enough to get tickets has a great time!!
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

I hope so :cross: , I'll keep trying, they are playing Friday too, I had been checking all morning, I had a feeling they would be some as I checked on Ticketmaster and there are still loads of tickets left.

Never mind, 2 out of 3 aint't bad!
