Just got back from seeing this in Leicester Square - it was brilliant. I probably laughed more during it than I did the first time I saw The Hangover. I can't recommend it highly enough.

We saw this at Leicester Square last night. We really enjoyed the film - good laugh out loud humour!

Entertaining and often very funny. The Robert Downey Jr/Zach Galifianakis double act is very good and it's worth watching for that alone. RDJ playing a more caustic version of his usual persona with less of the trademark charm to fall back on than usual, while Galifianakis shows there's still a little life left in the manchild act. There's a couple of decent cameos too. Danny McBride as an aggressive disabled war veteran and Juliette Lewis and director Todd Phillips as a pharmacist and her boyfriend.
Admittedly it's not much more than a coarser and more vulgar version of Planes,Trains and Automobiles and does flag a little in the second half, but when it's funny it's very funny. Oh and the dog is very good too.
Plus any film with a soundtrack that includes Fleet Foxes, Neil Young and Band of Horses is okay with me.

After all these great reviews I am really looking forward to seeing it next week! I have been avoiding watching the trailer on TV (they are really going for it at the moment) as I do not want it to spoil the surprise element.

Saw this at the Empire Friday night. It's been awhile since I've seen anything on the main screen there, I always look forward to it. The film was pretty brilliant. The climax of the scene with RDJ and the kids was fantastic. As was the bumps in the road. I do enjoy my physical, mean-spirited comedy. Those scenes with the dog had me cracking up like mad too. Things got a bit too ridiculous in Mexico, but I can forgive that. What I can't forgive is treating Two & A Half Men as anything more than the incredibly shitty television show that it is. And the last thing that d-bag Charlie Sheen needs is another payday, but alas.

8.5/10 from me.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

I'm really looking forward to this tonight (thanks to Beate & tilly). I hope it is as good as the reviews on here. If kk gives a good review, it often indicates a good sign to me.

Thank goodness it's WIQ too. Now is the mission to get out of the building at the right time!

Who else is going to be at WIQ (except Beate and MCM).
