I have to be at home tonight because I have so much work to catch up on that I can't get done in the office as well as prepare for a presentation tomorrow evening (i hate presenting). Grrrr.
I am absolutely shattered and would just love to sleep all evening.

When I feel ill I find listening to Rush makes me feel better.
But that's probably just me.
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog:

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Beate wrote:What a load of bull. It was supposed to start at 1pm, we were there at 12.40 to be offered a free popcorn, then the waiting started. "Soon". "In a minute". "Won't be long now." We were FINALLY let into the screening room at 1.30pm to be sitting around for another 10 minutes without anything happening then we get a few stupid ads, then one with Kelly Brook getting up from a sofa in a ridiculous outfit (the feminist inside me was screaming), strapping on a table with beers on them, vanishing through a cinema door, then turning up for real in our screening room! She started handing out the beers, OH got one too. Then they did it a few more times, with the camera at other angles which is when it finally clicked with me that we are being abused for a TV ad without even having given our consent! The OH got another beer before I could stop him, and both times said to Kelly "Thank you darling." He clearly had no idea who she was! I will sue if that bit makes it into the ad.
We finally snuck out when they threatened to do it a fourth time, and waited patiently in the foyer for the others to come out so we could grab our Carlsberg. They had packs of 10 cans stuck up on top of each other but they were held together by foil in double packs so we have just lugged 40 bloody cans of Carlsberg across London! Not sure we should have taken that many but saw other take exactly the same amount. I am totally done in now. I hope our guest likes beer...
soonforgotten, were you in the front row? Saw someone with unruly hair...
Look what I just found:

The Daily Mail gets the time wrong as usual but at least we are not in the ad, my cunning plan of looking bored pa*d off!

What a revolting advert -- sexist rubbish! Remind me NEVER to b*y Carlsberg beer.
Hope you're soon feeling better, Beate and that OH is making you lovely soup and cups of tea to help your recovery.

But just exactly how is it a cinema experience? Where was the film? Someone wrote that on Carlsberg's facebook page after the event, but it was then deleted, not sure whether by Carlsberg or the poster.
