generally good, with a few lame scenes. the film was sometimes too obvious, whereas some film cartoon's in the past added adult subtlety in spades...i think that was where it was lacking.


i want a minion....

Dear Sky customer,

Firstly we would like to apologise for the problems that were experienced at our Premiere screening of Despicable Me on Monday 11th October. The cinema have recently installed new digital projectors which despite being tested earlier in the day with no problems, when it came to the actual screening, the 3D projector failed to work properly and therefore the film could not be shown in 3D. Apologies again for these problems and the disappointment this no doubt caused. As a means of apology, we have arranged with Cineworld to offer you two pairs of Cineworld cinema vouchers which you can use up to the expiry date shown. Please reply to this email with the postal address you would like these sent to.

and me. However, the problem with Vouchers are they usually exclude all the cinemas in my area or the West End fingers crossed these are for anywhere :cross:

Well I have 2 Cineworlds in my vicinity so should be ok - still have 4 vouchers to use up though!

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

I just got the following reply - what a laboured way of doing things!

Hi Beate,
We had to wait for everyone to reply first. The list of addresses was sent to Cineworld last week. They will then need to order in the vouchers as they don't hold them on site. And then they can send them out. You name and address was on the spreadsheet of complainants.
