So you are to blame for people for people making a circle outside the screen doorBeate wrote:Oh that was you! You should have said hi! Yes, that guy was rude, and when he got up to let you past he dug himself into OH who wasn't best pleased. The problem with WIQ is that you can't form an orderly queue in front of any of their screens due to the layout. I did make a joke about it to a few FMUKers. The bouncer was actually responsible for the queue disintegrating, because he went in and we followed him, thinking he was a regular guy and it was time to go in. Then we were stopped and had to retreat and the queue was never the same again. I actually moved the bouncer's stuff one seat so we could have the seats in the middle - luckily he wasn't bothered about it when he came in and sat down next to me.

Saw this last night in Birmingham. Cinema was pretty full. The film was crude but funny 7/10 from me
Re: Due Date
Absolutely brilliant the funniest movie I've seen in a long time! 5 stars!

Re: Due Date
I have to agree with the above. Apart from a couple of stand out scenes I didn't find it particularly funny for the most part so 6/10 from me5rannoch wrote:I really liked Hangover, but hated this film. It started off quite well, but within about 10 minutes, I was bored. I did not find it funny. I found it tedious. I ended up checking my watch every 5 minutes and generally wishing my life away. I was very disappointed as I had expected it to be as amusing at Hangover, if not better.

Re: Due Date
Really interesting to read the mixture of views on this film.
I watched this last night at a jampacked Piccadilly Apollo. I like that cinema, although I thought the screening room was very small.
From the beginning I liked this film and I was laughing all the way through along with a lot of other people in the audience. I had done my usual avoidance of trailers so as not to see all the funniest bits before I got into the cinema, so I was taken by surprise by the film. I thought some of the humour was a bit icky (I’m not a fan of Master Bates) but I didn’t think it was as crude as The Hangover, and I think I liked this film more.
I was quite sucked in to the story, and I enjoyed both of the characters. If I ever think that I am having a bad day, I need only to remember this film and nothing will seem quite as bad! I think the ending could have been a bit stronger, as nobody was quite sure whether that was it or not, then the credits started rolling.
I’ll be recommending this highly though. More chortles and chuckles than I’ve had for ages and I left in a good mood. 9/10

Re: Due Date
What on earth posessed RDJ to appear in this?!
An overly generous 5/10 from me.
I'm convinced the two security guards who sat in on the entire performance were there to stop anyone leaving early

I saw this at Odeon in Milton Keynes last night..and I enjoyed it. Haven't seen The Hangover, so cannot compare.
Security were in attendance with Night Vision Goggles on, and gave a verbal warning before the screening, anyone caught filming would be turfed out.
