Well I do hope you had a lovely time and especially enjoyed our version of Sunshine! Thursday was wonderful - not!

I was supposed to go and see The Age of Stupid in Greenwich on Thursday evening in an outdoor amphitheatre (the screening postponed from May), but the rain was coming down from 6pm so we decided to give it a miss! They might have moved it indoors but we were not going to take the risk! I was glad I didn't have to go out in that weather. Did anyone else go?

No - but we got soaked coming back from the Nokia Skate Almighty. The teenagers, particularly the girls, were only in light clothing and were wet through. Must be because they are young but they seem to think its fun to be that wet! Not so sure the people in Pizza Express were as impressed when they dripped all over the place.

Today's weather was nice but I spent all PM in a specialist yoga workshop and evening at the theatre. Would've loved to be out walking, especially as all my free days off lately have had poor weather, but the yoga should improve my gait so the sacrifice ought to p*y off. Why is it that whenever I book something, it turns out to be on the only dry, sunny day of the week?!

i've got some free cinema tickets that I was gonna use to see Inglorious Basterds with but now there's a free screening of it, I don't need to, can anyone recommend anything else that's good and coming soon that I can see instead? I don't like rom-coms :crying: , not much good on sci-fi and superhero stuff :X no kids movies or disney pap :x I like a proper film with a good story, I can do the odd bit of comedy too, don't mind tradegy, thrillers/suspense or historical stuff and can do the odd horror but not the really ott one's. errr doesn't leave much does it

Well, there's the Hurt Locker coming out at the end of the month, and it's receiving rave reviews...
