Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows
I dont read reviews in detail for films, I just like to get summaries but since I know the HP stories, I indulged myself:
IMDB user reviews...most of them pretty damn good. Rottentomatoes critics reviews are 81% fresh so far. Seems like the 2 part split is p*ying off, though the common critiscsm is that it feels like half a story and one other critism for some people is a slow middle (the notorious "lets go camping!" part of the book! Which did try my patience a bit too). Cant wait for tomorrow, this movie is sounding like the most satisfying for the book readers but not neccessarily for the those who haven't read the books.

Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows
Warner Bros are fuming after the opening 36 minutes of the latest Harry Potter movie was leaked onto the internet.
The opening half an hour of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1' was uploaded onto a file sharing website on Tuesday night. It's believed the quality is of a high standard.
In a statement, Warner Bros said the first 36 minutes were "stolen and illegally posted on the internet. This constitutes a serious breach of copyright violation and theft of Warner Bros. property.
"We are working actively to restrict and/or remove copies that may be available. Also, we are vigorously investigating this matter and will prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law."
The internet is a wonderful thing, but sometimes it's not.

Does anyone know when the box office of Odeon Leicester Square opens? I'm going to the 9:30 screening but don't know when to leave...

Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows
Me too but will be seeing it at the Brixton Ritzy. Enjoy the film everyone...I hope :)
Did any of you Potter fans attend the last night midnight screening in Leicester Sq? I Used to do that that sort of thing with the Star Wars movies and the atmosphere would always be electric, I slightly mellowed from that razz (only slightly!) but hope you enjoyed it!
@rawr_xoxo: How was your Potter Marathon?!?

Re: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows
Ventured out early in the morning to make the 9:30 am screening at Leicester Square. I have to say, it was worth it. Not only did I see it before most of you (haha), but it's one of the best Potter films. There's the old clichéd line that each Potter film is darker than the last, but it's never been so true until this film. Unlike its predecessor, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which was a little unbalanced, this film has just the right amount of humour and action that makes it a vast improvement. And of course there's some great acting from its three leads; and the film is decidedly adult in a few scenes - indeed, we have grown from Chris Columbus' fantasy Hogwarts. The months leading to Part II will seem like years. 8/10

I'll be watching this next week Wednesday with Orange's 2-4-1 deal sometime in the early afternoon to avoid all the crazy fans! Just walked past my local cinema earlier this evening around 5 and there were people streaming in wearing their witches and wizard costumes!
