Yeah the majority of films that say "In Digital 3D" are hardly very obviously 3D, they just look more 'rounded', almost all are just trying to jump on the 3D wagon so they can charge more per ticket really :S
Avatar I would say is the only movie in 3D I saw where there was a marginal difference, my half brother made a point of telling me that that was because it was filmed with a special 3D camera, whereas the 3D films coming out now(shamefully including HP7P1) are converted to 3D AFTER filming, so the effect isnt obvious :/

I too was there at Newcastle and bumped into Andrews - I agree film was okay - kids enjoyed it- most of the story covered in the trailers - pretty predictable plot...not much in 3D- luckily had brought my 3d glasses so didnt have to fork out £4. I nice way to pass a rainy morning.

6/10

We saw it at Printworks and couldn't believe how packed it was, held my youngest on my knee so other people could have space to sit down. Missed about five minutes though with the staff member standing in the row in front trying to move people along. We were right at the back and could still hear the screaming baby.

Overall we enjoyed the film, and the kids really liked it as well 8/10 :)

Also saw this at the printworks. The film was OK, although not sure what age group it was aimed at. Thought the 3D was pretty pointless.

I was at Printworks yesterday. It was packed full and quite a number of people wandered in 10-15 minutes after the start which was a bit inconsiderate.
The 3D wasn't the best I've seen but neverless it wasn't a bad movie and I would rate it 7/10

I had the privilidge of taking some very well behaved children to see this film on sunday at newcastle...no toilet breaks through the entire film...well done little one's.

Enjoyed the film, as andrews said i also was lead to beleive after watching the trailer that we were going to be in for a much funnier film! but the kids seemed to like it so who am i to complain x was however very disappointed to have to shell out for glasses without some prior warning!

HAHA I also seen it at the printworks, I couldnt believe that the parents of the "NEWBORN" baby had brought it into the film!!! I was so angry as it was crying and the only thing the dad does is stand up and rock it, it then took about 5mins of screaming for the dad to use one of his remaining brain cells to take it out!!! thankfully the film was free hahaha
Dad you were like a father to me...

Does anyone know if there will be free screenings in the South of the country?

I was sat in front of the rudest person ever at the Clydebank preview. She snarled at everyone and insulted everything she could including my McDs bacon and egg McMuffin. She complained about the Cinema Hall. She slagged the harmless family who were playing their DSs before the film started. You name it this woman had an opinion on it.

There appears to be an arrogance developing amongst some of the freebies hunters that they are entitled to the free films.

This silly woman wanted everyone to hear whatever tripe was coming out her trap and that summed her up. Perhaps the newborn baby would have been a better option.

As for Megamind kids loved it I thought it was ok.
