So if it shuts down for three weeks to get all the essential repairs/work done in one hit, would you miss it or would you get used to an alternative method of transport?

Bloody hell and I missed out on taking that week off - isn't it the one with Easter Monday so any office worker taking the week off would get away with three days holiday? How infuriating. I wanted them to have a June wedding, that's when I need a free day!

Gosh Beate, just catching up on things and sorry to hear you were in hospital. Glad you're ok and back in action.

I have got my leave approved for next April. I took off 26/27/28 which means I can break up on Good Friday and go back on the Tuesday after May Day. So, eleven days holiday for the price of three days annual leave. Highly recommended if your colleagues haven't got in there already.

No I am not really ok just because I am home. They just decided it is viral and there is nothing they can do, it will go away, finish my course of antibiotics (although most probably totally useless) and live with it. My right eye, which has caught the infection from the left eye a few days ago, is now more swollen than ever.
