Have a good day, Andrews. The picture looks pretty but unfortunately the snow isn't so nice when it is actually deep outside your door!! Heavy snow here again in Edinburgh this morning and my hairdresser has phoned to cancel my appointment as she cannot get over from Fife to her shop here. Don't know when I am going to get my hair done - hopefully sometime before Xmas!

Won 4 tickets a few months ago for the Playhouse Theatre and hope we will all manage to get there tonight as one of my daughters live in Fife. We were all looking forward to it as it is "Thriller" the Michael Jackson musical and I have seats in the front stalls which should give us a good view.

I'm sure there was a thread for this already, but I can't find it... I'm looking for the name of a film my sister and I used to watch on Christmas morning on TV. It was rubbish, but I want to get it her for nostalgia.
Anywho, it was an animation about a group of animals (rabbit, gerbil, etc) who find a present that Santa has dropped. They venture to take the present to the boy it was for.

Anyone know of/remember it?

I've been looking on the Internet Movie Database searching under plots and keywords but can't find anything for this (I'm too old to have direct experience of watching it, I think!). I don't know whether you've tried the IMDB? Here is a link to one of the searches I made there - you can customise your own search.

When they give you a list of films in a search they also break this down by keywords on the right of the page which helps and may jog your memory further.

There is also the Brit Movie Forum. There is a thread on requesting the names for films (it doesn't just have to be a British film) & there are a few members on there who are simply outstanding at naming films:

Thanks for looking, people! I've been looking a lot myself with no luck (even with lists like this!, so was hoping someone here would have seen it. It was on on Christmas every damn year for several running!
We think it might have "North Star" in the title, though I didn't say because it might be a red herring. Like I said, no luck so far.

Was it very recent AYBG or was it in the 1990s? Do you roughly remember the year and which channel it used to come on? I wonder if there is an archive of old TV guides somewhere on the net.

I've just been told I'm eligible to apply for an NUS card, which might be useful for student discounts. I think the technology will defeat me, though - I have to take a photo and upload it!
