Great picture Andrews, is it Russia?

I think perhaps it is - your guess is as good as mine.
Would like to see the streets here so creatively adorned

I drove to Aberdeen this morning it took 4 hours and two of those were Edinburgh-Perth which normally takes 40 minutes!

the motorway was down to two black tracks in teh snow on one lane. It was shocking. We didn't see a plough or gritter until Dundee which was 70miles!

Bizarrely it's lovely and sunny in Aberdeen, much less snow than Edinburgh but much colder!!! All the trains are cancelled so not quite sure how I'm going to get back as OH up here with car all week!

Yes still awful here this morning. Waited 75 minutes for a bus yesterday and could not get into work. So setting off shortly in the hope of getting a bus, which I think are now running, either that or it's the long walk for me.

Take care everyone!!

It has stopped at least MM but for how long?? The weather forecasters don't even know. Was watching the transport minister making excuses that the snow was unforecast hence the chaos on the roads. Some drivers had been trapped for 12 hours (hope you didn't get trapped Alythonian). The presenter kept pressing him to apologise......no chance!!

I was so glad i didn't go to work yesterday. Am not venturing out today either.....another sickie :X . This illness was timed nicely  .

Managed to get to the Playhouse Theatre last night to see Thriller which was excellent. o/ Unfortunately my youngest in Fife didn't get through but the buses were running again here last night.

I was supposed to be at the Univeristy today to conduct exams but they shut yesterday afternoon when the buses stopped running and decided to stay closed today. Waiting to see if exams are on tomorrow. Some poor students will have a long trail in to sit their exams as a lot come from outside Edinburgh.

As Len Goodman said on Strictly - snow is fun to start with but soon you wish it would go away!!!
