Me neither, there haven't even been any previews near me (yet), and I couldn't have gone last night anyway. Can you go on Sunday 19?

I saw it at the always underwhelming Whitelys, I don't know why I bother with that dump apart from the fact its 2 stops from home. The lights never go down fully and the film never shows at the right side.

Last night they refused my friend and other people entry because they were about 5 mins late (stuck in traffic) I'm so cross about that as she had to come a long way and all for nothing.

anyway the film was fantastic, I nearly had a tear in my eye as it was so moving. Wonderful performances all around, especially Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush (must dig out Shine and watch again). It must have been so hard being royalty in those days, never having a normal childhood or talking to ordinary people

10/10
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

'King Speech' leads Golden Globe nominations

Colin Firth's royal drama 'The King's Speech' leads this year's Golden Globe nominations after scoring seven nods, including best drama and best actor for the British actor.

The film, which focuses on King George VI's relationship with his speech therapist, also scored acting nominations for Geoffrey Rush and Helena Bonham Carter.

'The King's Speech' producers, Iain Canning and Emile Sherman, said, "This time last year we were knee deep in snow in a small town in the midlands shooting scenes to accompany Colin Firth's final speech. A year later to be nominated for seven Golden Globes is truly incredible."

I saw this last night at the Odeon, MetroCentre - absolutely marvellous! It is certainly one of the best films I have seen this year.

9/10 - maybe higher when I reflect upon it.

Forgot to add only about 30 people (20%) at The Printworks Sky Screening which is very sad that loads of seats went to waste.

is it because of the snow? or maybe because of the football match? 20% turnout is pitiful for such a film

No snow in Manchester at the moment and although Manchester United were playing at home the kick off was 8pm so wouldn't have affected the traffic. I thinks its because it was a Sky screening and no-one could get tickets.
