It's not all that bad in East London, yes there is snow, but the pavements weren't all that slippery and we made it to and from the post office just fine.

You got off lightly!! :giggle:

We're just north of London and when you step out the front door your foot sinks with snow over your ankles!!, its OK to walk on at the moment but when its starts to freeze it will be a problem, there is a large hill to get in and out of where I live and no one can get up it, there are cars sliding all over the place......I have seen 1 gritter in the past 2 days, none have been past today.

Oh the joys, have got to try and get to work soon :(
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

That was kind of you, and I hope they show their appreciation! It is very stressful driving in these situations, and especially (em, forgive me if I am wrong here...) if you are sober and they are in 'high spirits'. ;) ;)
Yes you are right; I was sober and I can cope with the high spirits it was more the problem that they couldn't remember the directions to where they lived  MrGlass I think I was volunteered but they did appreciate it as they kept on telling me that they loved me or was that the drink talking lol
rawr_xoxo please get yourself checked out if you've hit your head and have a headache and I hope you soon feel better.

Had a number of snowball fights here today in South London and made a short video using household appliances as percussion instruments, also playing the Cello outside in the snow :D

The last time it snowed, these kids were throwing snowballs at people passing by (they were about your age weirdfilms.) Eventually when there was no one left to pick on they turned to me while I was waiting for my bus. One landed on my jeans and made it wet..... I thought I was going to FMUKING strangle them. After putting the fear of God into them, they ran away and I never saw them again. I continue to hope I never see them again.

Last year with the snow, I was walking to the tube to go to work. 3 blokes were walking towards me, and when they drew level, one of the smashed a snowball in my face, rubbing it in 8O i didn't know whether to chase after them, swear and shout at them or just cry. I found it very upsetting and unecessary.
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Thats awful Valda. I feel so angry reading that. I would actually call that assault. I would have pulled his trousers down and rubbed his tiny little bit into the snow. It really annoys me that people think it's okay to throw snowballs at people you don't know. funnily enough they always do it in groups too, not man enough to do it on your own, eh?

I am sure that it is they who are hoping they never see you again, a_person.
I bet they weren't expecting the reaction they got - you look like you wouldn't say boo to a goose. I can just imagine the choice language you would have treated them to. Well done o/

Reading all these rants by a_person completes my life!

Also, snow can be fun when you're young, but when it prevents a relative from coming to your house with presents like it did today it's fmuking annoying. I have to wait till the new year to get my DVDs and poster of Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction! Fmuk fmuk fmuk fmuk....
