Finally got out to see a film tonight o/ - first I've seen in ages due to transport problems what with the snow and all. Anyone know of any competitions to win 4 x 4 vehicles? ;)

I enjoyed seeing the millennium trilogy being brought to its conclusion, with all the loose ends now neatly tied up. I especially liked the trial scenes and the turning point where it all started going wrong for the prosecution's case. I'm still smiling at the portrayal of Lisbeth Salander's painful inability to properly voice her thanks to those that had risked so much to help her. She is so lovely, couldn't you just give her a big hug!

The actor who played Mikael Blomkvist seemed to have gained a fair amount of weight since making the last two films. Perhaps he has now been pa*d for them, and has spent all the money on calorie laden food!

I cannot imagine what the Hollywood version of this will turn out like, or why they would want to make it. I'd be surprised if it were anywhere near as gritty and compelling.
I was completely riveted by the film. A bit like the character Niedermann ...Oh no, he was nailed wasn't he? 8O
This gets a 9 out of 10 from me. :D

I went to see this on Sunday (pa*d), as it was disappearing from the cinema screens, and I could not bear to wait for this to be available on DVD. I loved it. It simplified the story from the book, with several changes (like the earlier films) but this worked really well. I knew what was going to happen, but even so I was so involved in this.

Brilliant stories, well acted, well-written. Noomi Rapace was fantastic, and who could believe that the girl who played Erica in Social Network could be as good in the US remake? And where will they film this? I'm not sure that Americans will want to film a Swedish based story about journalists uncovering state secrets, given recent events... :shifty: :shifty:

However, Daniel Craig (as Blomkvist) adds a bit of eye-candy for us girls.. ;)

I saw this at last, at Vue Westfield today, checked that it was showing in their standard screens before going, so I could use my Vue vouchers, and this time no problems with the vouchers, just changed it for tickets without fuss and without having to complete a form (perhaps Vue Westfield heard me when I complained on here about this!).

What a superb film. It ties up all the loose ends, well acted and suspenseful. 8/10 Now I can go and read the last book in the trilogy, brilliant books too.
