Saw this at Sheffield Cineworld. Really enjoyed it - better than I expected it to be. Seems like lots of you have had a bad time with getting the film to start on time / getting glasses, but everything was fine here. Children well behaved (in my opinion). I quite liked the 3D, although I agree it didn't add too much to the film - I want things to fly out of the screen at me! The story was good, I liked Rapunzel and Eugene (he reminded me of Guybrush Threepwood from the Monkey Island games) - as well as Pascal and Maximus. I didn't mind the songs, although sometimes it did feel like a musical.

Overall a good watch and a great start to 2011. Only 99 more to go now. 8/10.

We were at the Quay Glasgow. Myself, my friend and our wee girls (7 and 3) really enjoyed it. 3D was good, loved the chameleon. DD loved the frying pan and Maximus. 8/10 for us, I would have pa*d to see it. Plenty of empty seats :( but I suppose the SFF screening was on at cineworld in the city centre.

I saw this at Cineworld, Milton Keynes. Is it a new policy to charge for 3D glasses? I had some in the car, which meant that I did not have to b*y any but it did not stop me feeling angry as there had not been any warning that glasses were no longer provided free!

I am a great fan of Disney films, but I really did not like this one. Having read the reviews in other posts, I had expected much more. I did like Pascal and Maximus but not much else. Everything was too predictable and 'nice' - even the wicked witch.

Had premium seats and free 3D glasses. Nice disney movie! it's going to be another hit with families, with parents p*ying for rapunzel dolls and dress up costumes, beany chameleons and white horses! 3D was good with birds, butterflies and lanterns!... sweet and beautiful!

It can't be cos I was at a Cineworld too and they were as nice as pie. Welcomed us in early out of the snow and cold, had put the heating on, told us all to get settled in out seats and then came around and personally gave us our free glasses with big smiles and telling us the film was fab and they hoped we enjoyed it. Can't say I've always had the star treatment here but the manageress and staff who had come in early to show this preview were brill. Isn't it a shame that we don't all have the same experiences?

This was great fun for a Sunday morning and the animation was very good. Despite not being a great fan of musicals, I liked the musical number at the Snuggly Duckling Inn. Although I think what really made the film was the characters of Maximus and Pascal! All the kids in the audience seemed to enjoy it very much. 8/10 from me.

Oh, forgot to mention re paper. I did b*y one and was even holding the page in my hand with the tickets when approaching the "ticket checking point", when noticed NOT A SINGLE PERSON had a paper with them and also it was already a quite big pile of printouts at the entrance with again not a single paper in it, just printouts... All that resulted in me putting the paper in my handbag very very quickly!!! and feeling a bit stupid! because it looked like I WAS THE ONLY ONE WITH THE PAPER!!! Well 1,50 wasted as I never read it... But the movie was good!!! o/

Daughter and I saw this at the Odeon Covent Garden. Delighted to see Andrews again on her flying visit to London and glad to introduce Sunny Saver.

We really liked the film. The music was good and the lyrics very clever. We thought the 3D enhanced the film and seems a good idea with animated films but useless and unnecessary with others. The children in the cinema were terrific and gasped at just the right times and were incredibly well behaved throughout -- well done to them!

I think everyone who had to p*y for glasses should sharply complain to both the cinema and Sky!
I have never had to p*y for glasses at a preview but nevertheless are now carrying two pairs in my coat around with me just in case.
