and dont forget Rocky, cinefila!

Cant wait for this movie now either. boxing is one of those films that works well on film, its a pity its such a brutish and really ultimately bad sport.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

I've just returned 2 tickets for The Fighter at whiteleys on the 11/1/11 if anyone's interested. I haven't posted it on offer, as there doesn't appear to be much demand

fisticuffs, fury, foul language and that's just the family. Mark Wahlberg- yes I would thankyouplease. Comedy. True story and whitesnake. It's bloody brilliant. Go see it. 10/10

Great film! Two people I asked to go with me passed on it because trailer looked bad (I don't watch them myself!). They missed out - great film.

I read that as you had gone with your OH and your boyfriend I thought you were brave taking them both!!
I'm going to watch this next week, I'm not into boxing but the story looks good.

Just seen this in Croydon. Wasn't expecting much as didn't like the trailer.

The film is offbeat and not really a blockbuster. It's a true story and thought christian bale played the character well. 7/10 from me

Wow what a great film! I hadn't read anything about it but somehow guessed from the title that it was about boxing ;) and wasn't that keen. Had to hide my eyes through bits of the fight but still a fantastic film! Great characterisation by all the actors and loved the little bits of humour here and there.
Wonder where they got the seven sisters from? pretty actresses with loads of bad make-up or dragged off Jeremy Kyle?
