I like classes because you get to know people, they help you, you help newbies unless they refuse to listen. I dn't have a Wii or any space to exercise in my little flat. Plus, how can I exercise when the internet is calling me?
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Gonna be a healthy baby. Think I will set a workout program for JMDs newborn, nothing strenous, 40 sit ups, some ab crunches etc...

I cant help having that sense of feeling that a new fmuk baby is entering the world any second now!!

Meanwhile, I hope everyone is going well with their fitness goals. Going to do a long run this evening, 12 weeks more for my first ever marathon run, I really gotta keep focussed on training properly. Not just in running but with appropriate workouts to strengthen my leg muscles and overall body balance.

After some serious scolding from Diane, I've finally setup my sponsor page for Asthma UK. I wrote a short description of my mission....alright its bloody long, I seem to have a serious inabilitiy to write anything compact. The link is in my signature. Or by all means click here or copy/paste http://www.justgiving.com/RunAgainTejRun

Guys , if you find it difficult to find a goal to motivate your fitness, then I suggest going for a running event for charity. Its being a massive motivation factor for me on my fitness journey.

As a build up to my big day. I will be running 3 other running events around England:

February 27th: Tunbridge Wells - Half Marathon.
March 6th: Leith Hill - Half Marathon (very hilly, tough one!)
March 21st: Leicestershire - Aldi Ashby 20miles

Then the Big One, Paris Marathon 10th April (26.2 miles...gulp)

If anyone would like to get into running, there is an organisation called ParkRun that organises a 5km run in parks all around England every Saturday morning 52 weeks in the year, including Christmas Day! ParkRun is for everyone from complete beginner to pro. Its very well marshalled and your times are recorded on a website and best of all, its all Free. I've run this several times mostly in Bushey Park in Kingston-Upon-Thymes.

Wow, impressive MrGlass. Good luck with the new challenge!

No baby in sight yet here. Four days late, she takes after her mother already! ;)

A Capricorn or will she be entering the age of Aquarius in 2 days?!?

My mother told me I was overdue several days too but she made that happen deliberately as she didnt want me to be the same sign as my father. The fact that they divorced makes me believe her and that she has special mind powers!

Well, I've been recovering from a back operation I had in June, and I was told by my doctor recently that I'm now able to swim. So, I sallied forth to Balham Leisure Centre and got in for free. Swim was great, apart from in the changing rooms where a young woman was yelling at some guy who had apparently touched her or something :nono: ... I actually saw him being questioned afterwards by the police. Good start, eh? :wtf:

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.
