Wow, so nice to see so many fmukkers. Spread over two rows. Arrived at 6.25 and everyone was let in already, didn't know beate had text me (as there was no reception in the basement for me) to say she was saving a whole row with difficulty on her own. I headed straight for back row and couldn't see any fmukers and was just wondering where everyone was when Sunny Saver arrived and I spotted beate's OH who told me beate was two rows down, then what fun we had exchanging gifts and saying hello to each other across rows! Thanks so much ejwrank and bevvy for thinking of me. The cinema was absolutely packed, but I managed to hold a spare seat for Ciro22 and left his name at the door. A few people came in late and sat at the front, was that you Ciro22?

What a brilliant and enjoyable film. Hard to understand at first, especially Jeff Bridges, took me some time to adjust to his speech, and all that dialogue, and I thought another road movie when they had to travel to Indian country, when wham bam, the action came and came! Not overtly keen on westerns normally but this has won me over. All the characters were well cast, loved the young girl, Mattie, from the moment we saw her, so strong, yet so vulnerable and I thought she carried the film. Lots of humour and fun, but very moving. 8.5/10

I wasn't reserving a whole row as I thought that might create mutiny, that's why I needed people to turn up, LOL. I don't like the last row at the Apollo as you can't move your seat back one inch but I meant to sit in the second last row. Don't know how I came to be one lower but the seats were absolutely fine. I did have great reception on my phone down there btw, I received a_person's text AND phone call.

I didn't realise there was an FMUK "party" going on at the back of the screening room.

My OH and I really enjoyed the film, but I'm afraid that we didn't manage to understand some of the dialogues because of the weird accents. 8/10

Sounds like a really good film, it must be brilliant all meeting up with fellow FMUKers. I am Billy no mates in Manchester as I've never met anyone else from FMUK.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Beautiful cinematography and structured shots at times. I thought Hailee Steinfeld was fantastic as Mattie Ross and she really carried the film. Even though she was so young and small she had a believable strength about her. Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon looked like they were having fun with their parts (Did Matt Damon sound like Bill Clinton or is it just me  ).

**Also extra special thanks to valda for the tickets as well as otherwise I wouldn't have had the opportuinty to see it :T :T**

I enjoyed the film and thought it was very well acted and the script was funny and clever. As mentioned by others, It wasn't always easy to understand what Jeff Bridges was saying but it didn't really seem to matter.
Lovely to meet so many FMUKers and there were gifts galore being exchanged. Many thanks!
