Well a day of ups and downs. I've totally screwed up at work, huge problems going back months. the boss has been going through everything and is basically giving me stuff to do a bit at a time. I feel so bad about it, I clearly wasn't ready to do that sort of work, not been accountancy trained. Good thing is now I know what my mistakes were I wont do then again.
It doesn't help that we are working on 2 different systems that are not linked, so everything on one system has to be uploaded and journalled in another system :tears:

That's tough Valda, but not your fault if it was a training issue. At least your boss is being decent and responsible about it and now you know and things are being sorted out, they should be on track in future.

thanks Ms T, it sort of was a training issue, and being on the internet getting distracted issue and a loss of memory thing. I don't sleep either so eventually it all gets too much, and I gaily carry on doing the work but doing it all wrong. Thank god I had my Performance Review and will still get a bonus.

anyway a wake up call. I must stay off the net more :tears:

I am sure you won't make the same mistakes again, valda, and you must be doing a good job otherwise you won't have got a bonus and still have a job! I am sure as you say, you are not ready for it as you are not trained, so they need to review their training for you. Your boss seems understanding and sensible.

she's great, that's why I feel so bad at letting her down. We are up to our eyes in work, and having to do the same stuff again and be taught all over again is wasting more time. Still as you say I won't make the same mistakes again especially as I now know how it all works.

Does anyone know of any new "good" horror movies that are due for release as it seems ages since we've had a real scary film to watch?
