It's a corporate thing. It's called a familiarisation trip for venue bookers. Prettyxcool is negotiating the same deal but on a different date. We had to send a long email justifying how we could bring business to the hotel!

i had 2 back to back interviews today. one i'd had to do a test to get through to in which i was told i was in the top 3 best answers out of hundreds. feeling pretty good right now!!
fingers crossed i'll be in for the next round. bring on test 2!
the other one went well too, only a 6 week job mind you, but would be nice to work there, and girl interviewing me was ace. easy job, fun environment, more good shizzle for the
happy weekend everyone!!
