did i really just read someone got a prescription for sun cream? :O

it would be cool though if the following were free on the nhs: sun cream (really it's so expensive, doesn't need to be and saves lives), and sanitary products (it's kind of unfair the amount of money women have to spend on these when it's a part of life and without it no more life). oh and all condoms should be free too.

i don't suppose there's enough money to cover those things though so hardly fair if one person is taking the p**s getting free sunscreen on the nhs. i guess they see it as a perk of the job?

I would normally agree but having personal experience of this I think in some cases it is justified. My sister has various conditions and one is being photo-sensitive. She is not at the stage whereby she can only go out at night but merely half an hour out in cloud can sometimes cause her to burn quite badly. Sun creams are expensive and if my sister had to p*y for it all year round it would really dent her finances which are already limited due to other conditions she has which impact heavily on when and how she can work.

I think the issue is not what is prescribed just the lack of attention with regard to who is getting what and why. The main question should be do they really have a need or are they just chancing their arm!

David Cameron needed to cut public sector jobs in order to save the UK credit rating from dropping. As if that drops, we're in even more shizzle.

he's a joker, where does he think they're all going to go and work? they're not, as there are f all jobs. then there will be more ppl on benefits and even less people spending money on anything because EVERYTHING is too expensive!

it's a vicious circle. they're not helping anything as far as i and a lot of other people can see.

Basically they spent too much money and need to find it somewhere. They should check everyone who claims benefits as some are claiming not only in the uk but also abroad!

They are doing a few things right though, i must say. Firstly, they are trying to protect our credit rating (which if they dont we are gubbed. Hence the slash in public sector to improve the balance sheet). The equalisation of the pension age of males and females was long overdue (not sure if that was labour or tory).

I'm not actually a Tory fan, they have set a clear plan and are actually sticking to it. Unlike Labour, who were pussy footing about the issue.
