Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I can completely sympathise with you. Although I don't have a wisdom tooth (don't think I would want one either!) but I can feel the pain for you! Ouch! Hope you get an appointment soon (then there'll be no excuses for concerts and gigs!!).

I wasn't sure where to post this but thought it would give people a giggle.

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Deaf School - still can't persuade my 17 yr old son to appreciate
their talent though. Lol.
My 22 year old has just told me that she would have liked to have seen Deaf School, must have been all those years of listening to my D.S. CD's or going back a few years or so...my records! Nice to know that my Daughter has good taste in music too! LOL - You will need to work on your 17 year old and teach him about good music ;-)

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
On Friday I went to Usher, courtesy of an old boyfriend I'd not seen for over 25 years
. He's very sucessful and is a Lighting Designer for bands and is doing Usher at the moment. Anyway with lots of nerves I get to the O2 and met up. We were hanging out on his tour bus, which is amazing, all leather seating, fully stocked kitchen area, filled up daily by the driver. They have plasma TV's surround sound, DVD's etc. Up stairs is another lounge area and the sleeping area. I wouldn't mind having a tour bus!
I was to watch the gig from right by the stage, where Gary was working, and later I had an escort through the barriers and the crowd to the other lighting area. I felt like royalty. As to the gig, I don't know Usher's music which didn't help, but he was entertaining enough in a cheesy way and puts on a good show. Didn't get to see Usher or the Beckhams, there's so many levels of security and access passes. Funnily the one I had got me out front, but when I came back, I had to wait for Gary to come and vouch for me, even though I'd come out 10 mins ago. Flipping jobsworth
It was great catching up with Gary again, he was my first love and that never can be forgotten. Anyway, he lives on an Island off Seattle, with an amazing house so fingers crossed I get an invite vx
I only took a few pics with my rubbish phone, but you can see how near we were to everything
