Question for the ladies, how easy is it to get your make up done in a store?

I did post it on free days out about the Guess thing a_person, so don't say you weren't told! How was usher?

I actually don't check the Bargain board. I rarely post on there too. Oh well...

Usher was quite good but I didn't enjoy all the songs he sang. Infact, he sang the 10% of his songs that I'm not that fond of. He did sing some of my favourites though so that was good . The effects used were really good too. And he had his very husky voice on. And he pretty much attempted to dry hump this girl. He was saying it's just any girl from the audience but there was no way that girl was "just chosen." She clearly had been picked before hand!

Leaving was a nightmare though. I spent forty minutes just trying to get out.

Was it full? There's a few Usher comps around but I don't think SFF is going to offer a few seats anytime soon....

It depends where you go to be honest and who you go too. If it's MAC in Selfridges, good luck. You need to call before you make an appointment and they probably charge or make you b*y something.

I've previously used Clinique in Debenhams though, there was no queue there and she did put it on quite nicely. I found Urban Decay completely shit - had to wipe the make up off as soon as she applied it because even my niece could do a better job (and she's only four). I've never used Bobbi Brown but they are one to try - they don't seem to have queues.

I'd say have a look around in Debenhams or John Lewis. Selfridges tends to be packed. Also, if you're going for Usher, I'd go to Bare Escentuals. Their make up is really nice and it will really glitter with all those lights above you!

Was it full? There's a few Usher comps around but I don't think SFF is going to offer a few seats anytime soon....

All the "stall" seats were definitely full. There were a few empty seats on Level 1 opposite my side. Level 4 was rather full but still a few empty seats.

It's because he kept adding more and more tour dates. There's another one tonight and on Monday. I'd still go again if they came out through SFF.

I'll be in Westfield so I could look around Debenhams, and yes it will be for Usher, just so I can look a bit less tired. So do you jsut go up and ask if someone would do your make up?

Yeh but just act like you're looking to b*y. I generally do b*y if the make up is good but if it's a one-off I wouldn't bother. SOmething like "oh I'm looking for such colours....not sure how you're make up will look on me though, would you please try it on me so I can b*y them if I like them?" Be specific to what you want though else they use you as a modelling tool.
