Oh, absolutely. I remember this happening at a screening of Dan in Real Life years ago, fortunately they rectified it soon.
To the cinema or SFF?

Also, does anyone know the final two trailers that were shown? They looked good, just can't remember the names.

Watched this at Cineworld Edinburgh - too full, too hot.

At best it was a pilot for a TV series - not a patch on Buffy, Angel or the X-Files.

Glad I hadn't pa*d to see it.

4/10 at a push.

I'd say to the cinema, it's them that hadn't shown it correctly. Of course you could always complain to SFF as well telling them what the cinema has done to spoil your enjoyment of the film....

Bizarrely we got three trailers - can't remember the last time we had trailers at a preview that was at Cineworld.

I wasn't sure about this one but I really enjoyed it. It was a mix of Twilight meets x-Men but it was intriguing and it drew me in. I thought the charachters were better grounded and founded than Twilight ones and although some of it wasn't explained or was glanced over, they have set it up pretty well for a sequel.

Alex Pettyfer was good - can't believe how much he's grown up since the Stormbreaker film a couple of years ago.

It entertained me - 8/10
I saw this at Edinburgh Odeon (thanks Yinster) agree with comments above.

It was a tense ride with me grimacing loudly when he put that metal razor ball in that poor guys mouth :X . Definately entertained me and how scary was that hayride  , wonder if all ghost trails are that scary in real life USA, puts our tame wee ghost trains in the shade. Also, Glee's Quinn Fabray was good at being the 'damsel in distress' as apposed to the high school bitch.

Intrigued enough to look out for the sequel, 8/10 from me too.

OMG! what a fantastic film, I will be watching this at the cinema again and b*ying the DVD once released. No negative comments only praise for all aspects of this film! (This film has made it into my top 10 movies) can't wait for the next instalment, which must have Alex Pettyfer in it!

My friend and I were turned away tonight, as the screen where it played apparently only had "four rows of seats." It was quite annoying, especially since I'd gotten tickets from another forum member. I'm very thankful to her but very disappointed that I didn't get to use them.

In the words of wikipedia, I am Number Four is the first of a six part book series.

The story is set to be continued in The Power of Six, set to be released August 23, 2011 and focus on Number Seven. A preview is provided at the end of a special edition of I Am Number Four

"They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England.
And Number Three in Kenya.
They tried to catch Number Four in Ohio and failed.
I am Number Seven. One of six still alive.
And I'm ready to fight.." [4]

So second book is due out in August so who knows whether they make a sequel and when?

How strange. I was here too. I was running late so parked car on main road at 6.25 (hoped OK from traffic warden point of view) and ran in. Wasn't turned away. Was pretty full though so I sat on front row. Never saw any of others - still to meet! - and was frozen! I think the air con blows directly from below screen. Also strange two lads came in after me and sat right next to me at front. They gobbled their food and watched film for an hour, then both got up and left. They returned again after 30 minutes and watched last 15 mins of film. I heard them say "we've missed nothing - look". What on earth cold they have done for 30 minutes in the middle of a film? Weird!
