I have the capital fm ticket but not the email. I don't know what to do here. I have a ticket that says West End Vue and one that says Odeon West End... both with the 26th though. I'm so utterly annoyed by this.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

prettyxcool wrote:Which screen were you in kobbing? As the one I went to - Screen 5 - was jammed packed, 99% full. But I was told at the door that there were two screenings today, one at 10.30am (which was what I had on my ticket) and one at 11.00am. I was asked if I got my tickets from Capital FM as there was a guest list for those people.
captivated. It was great fun and silly. 7/10
So sorry to hear about all the confusion people have had for this weekend!

I was super disapppinted when the date was moved to Sunday as it meant I couldn't go and gave my tickets away. Then I saw new codes released for Saturday and grabbed tickets in the hope I would be let in without kids as it didn't mention kids being a requirement on the SFF printout.

I turned up at 10am expecting to be turned away but was let in no problem! I was quite impressed by the effort put into the gala screening - the kids must have loved it! There was so many security guards though, I was afraid I would be stopped :shifty: and there was a weird one way system set up with the stairs and escalators.

And like pxc above, I was in screen 5, but didn't see her or I would have said hello! :( I thought the screen was about 90% full as there were a fair few empty seats which was a shame when I think of all the people who missed out!

I rather enjoyed the film itself but felt it was too long and dragged a bit (over 100mins). It was a charming film with amusing characters and I chuckled quite a lot. There was a decent amount of adult humour and I found myself recognising the famous voices narrating these wild western rodents/reptiles/amphibians. The animation was impressive - especially Rango's lizardy skin. I felt this film would have worked much better in 3D but was entertained nonetheless. The fanfare and goodie bags at the cinema were a nice touch. I'm really glad I turned up and tried my luck yesterday morning! 7.5/10.

Best line in the movie: "it's a puzzle, like a mammogram" (had me in stitches!) :bwl:

Sorry, I missed you too funthing29. Where were you sitting, I was sitting just in front of the reserved seating on the right about four rows down from the back.

At first I thought the film was 3D too o/ and I had forgotten to get glasses ;) , as it felt like it should be, but on looking round to check, saw no one else wearing any.

I arrived just when they opened the screen so got my pick of seats. :D

I was in the second row from the back on the right hand aisle in the middle section. Screen 5 is a nice cinema with a large open space - doesn't feel claustrophobic like some of the tiny screens. The AC was on too high though and I got rather cold.

The free flip flops felt rather random though? I think they were too large to fit on any child's feet! :giggle:

I came in at about 10.20am (as I was enjoying all the fun activities :P ) and it was already filling up. I must have walked right past you as I was two rows down from you in the middle section aisle too!

In the cinema, they looked like kiddies flip flops, but when I checked at home they are quite large for kiddies feet! They actually fit me! But I hasten to add, I have small feet :giggle:

Got in at West End Odeon without the slightest of problem. Stroked a couple of snakes and a chameleon before taking our seats. Very glad I took the chance!

Just seen this at the odeon and good to see bevvy, beate, valda, ejwrank and hottips!

After seeing the trailer, I was expecting a decent film. Sadly I didn't like it and walked out after an hour. The beginning was odd and didn't draw me in and nor was it funny. Shame really as it had potential.
