Re: Unknown
Full of action but I was not impressed with the script and there were far too many errors in the story. How did anyone know that the breifcase had been left at the station after all Liam could not call his wife to explain why he left in the taxi???
I love Liam Neeson's acting but I think my expectations are always extremely high because he has been in so many great films. I would not want to over criticise this film as it did hold my interest and the action was exciting but I must say it was not quite as good as I had hoped. 7/10
I was one of the few in the front row so I didn't get to meet any of you but maybe next time :-)

I am sure I heard the taxi driver quoted 70 rather than 17

Re: Unknown
I have to agree with most of you - the film was bad, but the cinema was just weird.
It felt like you were facing the corner of the room!
Anyway back to the movie, unfortunately it was very predictable with nothing new to show for itself.
In fact, Valda had forewarned people not to watch the trailer but I had seen it months ago when it first came out.
I guessed the twist back then and so just sat through what seemed a very long film going through the motions until the inevitable finale.
I'm not going to say anything more apart from don't watch the trailer if you intend on seeing this movie (and if you're not, then watch the trailer and save your save the price of a cinema ticket).
Movie: 4/10
The only highlight was seeing some of you this evening. It was nice to meet Beate, PrettyxCool and Hottips. Unfortunately, I did not get to say Hello to many more of you as I showed up just before the movie and hurriedly tried to get some decent seats.
I look forward to meeting more FMUKers at future screeings.

Don't you think certain scenes were dragging painfully (f.e. Will he reach the scissors?!?!?! What a suspense. Not.)

Re: Unknown
ON thing in its favour, Berlin looked beautiful. I wish more films were made in Europe as it makes a change in scenery. As I type this I can think of loads actually

Re: Unknown
I think it's more because the production companies involved are european, Studio Canal etc.
I think the big Hollywood studios like 20th century fox rarely like coming to european locations
(I guess it also depends on the exchange rates)

and yes it looks beautiful - a very good advert for Berlin, although people might not want to get into a taxi in Berlin after having seen the film.
