Have you had to do one of these before? What's it like?
I'm not willing to sign anything before reading it all through, I hope it's not pages and pages.
If we all have to sign something, it will be chaos! We had better get there really early. I've never had to sign anything before at a free screening.

Fair enough, I will most likely still go to the film. We still better not discuss it on here though, right?

We've gone through this already. Trust me, there won't be an NDA. There's just been some error of communication at some point.

That's nice to know. How can you be sure? (I haven't seen anywhere that we've spoke about this before)

I can't "be sure", but an NDA would defy common sense. It would be like a Fascist government promoting Communism. NDAs are regularly used in early test screenings, which might also be called "preview screenings". Herein, I believe, lies the confusion, and the resultant mistake.

I can't believe that there would be NDAs used for this as the film is already being advertised.
The only time I have ever had to complete one was last year when we saw a test screen of "Me and Orson Welles" but we also had to complete a small survey. This was a genuine research for the film and all feedback was going to be used to make editing changes. The film has still not been on general release (scheduled for Dec 09) even though at the time we were told it was scheduled for this summer. Therefore it made sense that they would get NDAs.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.

No NDAs at Silverlink, everyone - but the film started at 10.30am, not 11am as stated on the ticket! Sadly, due to road works, I arrived about 10.35, and by the time anjirose and I got in, the film was underway - no trailers this time. It was fairly easy to pick up the storyline, and I am not going to discuss it fully until everyone has seen it (last free screenings on the 25th, I think). It was quirky, gentle, and amusing in places. Just right for a Sunday morning!
I enjoyed it. 7/10 from me.

So disappointed that this screening started at 10.30 rather than 11, but the first 5 mins we didn't seem to miss much and caught up with the way the movie was working.
Well my hasn't Joseph Gordon-Levitt grown since the days of 3rd Rock from the Sun! He was great in this role, and Zooey Deschanel was good as Summer. Although I disliked summer, god girls can be Bitches! haha!
It was a cute film, definitely perfect for a Sunday morning, although I found Toms friend Mckenzie rather irritating, even just his face :-s
So yeh not too bad 6.9/10
