i don't remember, it was years ago but i remember my first advance test screening, which was 40 year old virgin.

my 1st free screening whilst on here was never let me go though :D

I only really stumbled upon free screenings in September last year which kind of upsets me as I have been a Sky Movies customer for 10+ years so missed out on loads of free films! :(

I think I went to a free film a few years ago and they made me fill out a questionnaire at the end - for the life of me I can't remember what it is so it obviously wasn't that memorable.

My first preview since I stumbled across the free cinema thread on MSE (before I found my way on to this board) was, if I remember correctly, The Switch.

So glad I found this forum. o/ :j

My first free preview was The Social Network so only the end of last year really. However I knew free previews existed through my job but never work out how people always managed to get tickets. I sign up to SFF and other sites a year ago but never really got any codes. Glad I found this friendly community.

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

I think it was a Guardian preview screening of Signs at Islington Vue. I had to pick up the tickets from the Box Office!

My first movie screening was pink panther.
It was absolutely hilarious!

My first ever free preview was Babel. I think I saw tickets for it on the Guardian website. I registered for SFF and a few other and very occasionally get codes. But this year I came across this site and have not looked back. I have to say its amazing. I love the free films (obviously) but I also like all the other associated info - the well thought out film reviews, competitions, bargain board etc. I am on a serious budget this year and this site makes budgeting fun. I am a bit of a voyeur on this site and don't usually don't get involved in the chat, but I just wanted to say thanks really.

My first FMUK preview was Animal Kingdom and that is my number one film of the year. Gonna try make it to a hundred as I love the 100 free films idea!

sky hasn't really been doing it that long so don't worry too much
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

My first screening was the Avatar day (15 minutes). But i heard about it from the San Diego Comic Con announcement, and the fact it would be happening in the UK. So i did immense and really geeky googling to find out how to nab some tickets for it. It then lead me to, i think IMDB's FAQ section which provided the code for SeeFilmFirst for it.

I then signed up to SeeFilmFirst, but after some time i noticed a distinct lack of emails with codes. So 1 month later i did more googling and there was a thread i found which asked "How do i get free test screenings in UK", and the response linked me directly to here, and about 5 minutes later i had booked my first free full film of Law Abiding Citizen in Watford.

I knew absolutely nothing about that movie and was expecting some low budget independent crap (that that all independent movie's are crap, but some are), but it was free so i decided to go along. Imagine my surprise when i was presented with 2 hours of awesome acting, gripping plot, intense drama, actual money being spent and all big established film companies.

From that day on i vowed to integrate myself into this community as to this day its kicked all kinds of ass
