I managed 45 mins before I legged it. Not really my thing, hated the 3D, and the people around me were seriously annoying.

For me, once you see a couple of the dances, they all seem the same. The girls all soft and floaty, the boys all macho. Flately and his lady were very good considering thier age, but I did notice that most of the dancing were the boys and girls, with the 'stars' walking up and down encouragingly. I'm really not knocking it, I'm sure it would have been amazing live, but, its not for me.

Lovely to see A_person in Person, and Beate, and I sat with pcx

I would have scored higher but the 3D again ruined things for me 6/10

Well let's just say you weren't the only one with idiots around you. There were two blokes to our left who kept whooping and clapping and talking really loudly after each number. You can do that if you are sat in that show or at a concert, but in a film it's really inconsiderate! All I was trying to do was to get some shut-eye, as the film was mind-numbingly boring and I disliked Michael Flatley on sight, prancing around the stage in his stupid get-up and heeled dance shoes. There was only ever one tune and at the end I thought if he gives one more encore dancing along the stage to that stupid tune, I am going to scream. So I am sorry to a_person and ejwrank for my sharp exit but I couldn't stand it a minute longer. Really I should have done what valda did and left earlier but I think OH enjoyed it. He's the only reason we went. I wouldn't have minded a lie-in this morning but unfortunately he had remembered that we had a film on - funny how he never forgets that.

1/10 and I am not really sure what that point is for. I guess the cinema was nice...

I've always dislike him and his massive ego. He's not Irish born, sure he has Irish parents but he is American, so what's with all the coming home business? I do think for his age, he's doing well to dance but, all the posturing and ridiculous clothes?

we are just back from the show. i brought my parrents who dont normally go to the cinema, and they loved it (should pint out they have watched this and riverdance about 50million times)
when it began i thought oh no michael flatley is just gonna be talking all the way thro and thank god he wasnt. we had a couple near us too that thought they had to clap after each dance. grrrrrrrr

dont really see the point of this going to the cinema tho. surely this should have been a straight to dvd film??
