I heard the Philharmonia 2 weeks ago and they were very good but last night he got them to be even better. Even OH who is usually not so keen on romantic composers said "This man could make me like any piece!"

radio 3 this evening at 7pm, Performance on 3, is the broadcast of the concert. i'm out at a (free) film but if i can get my toddler to give me some space tomorrow there's always i-player!Kaybeelon wrote:mramoeba wrote:yes, i went. i thought it was fabulous, particularly the Liszt. Perhaps they could hire him as their permanent conductor?
