I guess it's because it's in Hackney?

Shame that you can't make it, superhero. I read some reviews, and everyone seems to love the play.

Nothing wrong with Hackney -- some of us even live here! And the Hackney Empire is a gem of a theatre.

I didn't mean that in a negative way (just that it may be far for some people).

I agree. It's a really nice theatre.

I was the main Hackney gas meter operative for two years, and it is a pretty vile place in certain areas. But where isn't? And a female friend of mine was attacked in Shoreditch last week. So my opinion of the place has once again stooped. I'll still be going on Thursday though.

Be in the audience: Free tickets for shows

Friday Night is Music Night

For more than 50 years Friday night has been music night and we can now offer you tickets for four recordings of this Radio 2 favourite featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra.

To make the allocation of tickets fair, we are once again operating a random draw.

You can enter the Friday Night is Music Night random draw at any time until 10pm on Monday 28 March.

All successful applicants will be randomly selected.

You may apply for a maximum of two tickets per household.

Please note that entering the random draw does not guarantee tickets and you will only be notified of your successful application on receipt of your tickets.

Recording on Friday 8 April at LSO St Luke's, 161 Old Street, London EC1V 9NG. Doors open at 7.15pm.

To enter the random draw, visit the BBC Tickets Website or call the BBC Ticket Line on 0370 901 1227*.

Good luck with your application.

Kind regards

Would have gone to see the play but have tickets for Runaway instead tonight and it's far easier for me to get to the O2 than Hackney.
