And deservedly so! Now he should be made a "sir" which he actually joked about. He really has played a plethora of iconic roles both good and bad characters. My favourite is his bad cop role in Leon.

Oh and big thumbs up for a Magician's Nephew, finally! My favourite book in the series and was up until now never adapted to small or big screen.

Yeah, such an incredibly versatile actor. Gotta love the Oldman.

Ed Norton has been put off going to the cinema after he saw a rat scampering down the aisles.

The actor attended a New York cinema to see Colin Firth's Oscar winning 'The King's Speech', but was stunned to see a rat there.

He said, "I'm not particularly precious about the theatrical experience anymore. I still love it, but my experience equates with a lot of other people.

"I went to see 'The King's Speech', and there's been this plague of bed bugs in New York City, with people getting them off the movie theatre seats, so I was thinking about that and then a rat ran across the aisle! I sat there thinking, 'I could be watching this at home!'"

OK - apart from badly behaved people, has anyone else had a brush with wildlife at the cinema? 8O

Its not nice Norton is denouncing the Cinema though. Cinema needs support from all who work in the film industry. Of course rat plague is a put off but rather than state he could watch the film at home, he could have just said "Cinemas need to get their act together and deal with this problem so we can get cinema lovers back into the seats". Anyhow, I wonder how Ed Norton could have seen The King's Speech at home...on pirate?!?

According to this Warner Bros. will REBOOT the Batman franchise after Christopher Nolan's third and final installment. Nolan will apparently stay on as producer, so it won't be a total loss. Direction is uncertain so far.

Not really movie news but there are likely to be some Mad Men fans on here.

Mad Men delayed until March 2012

The fifth series of US ad agency drama Mad Men will not hit TV screens before March 2012 because of stalled contract talks with its creator.

I would assume Harvey Weinstein would happily send him a copy of the DVD.
