opas wrote:Demerara, the last line says that you will get the complimentary tickets by sending them your postal address. I guess we should be getting paper ones we can redeem at any Odeon box office (including the West End ones I hope) in the post?
Ooops, I guess I must still be blinded by rage :p

Three emails from the indiemoviesonline people who were pretty outraged themselves, one email from the PR company who had organised the comp and one from Momentum offering complimentary Odeon tickets. Everyone was very apologetic but it shouldn't have happened and I am still mad at the decision to let press in before others who had come earlier, basically making mincemeat out of "first come first served". Well, I let everyone know how I felt and I hope you are all going to send your addresses off for the cinema vouchers!

Are you really getting that many emails, Syd? Presumably mostly spam?
If I were you I'd get a new email address
It's actually pretty painless :)

I really recommend googlemail

I've signed up to way too many newsletters AYBG (all the mags you can think of and then some!). As well as that I'm somehow also getting regular mails from some dog magazine (don't have a dog here - my bf's family has a dog in the states but thats besides the point  ), tonnes of email from car companies (again, dunno why?? Don't need another car  ), loads of emails about how to enlarge my bits (wtf I'm a girl!!! I'd be less ticked off if they bothered to send me details about boob implants :p ), emails about getting free credit checks (err, rather have some free money tyvm), way tooo many emails saying "Congratulations....you've won free business cards from Vistaprint!!!!" (NO THANK YOU!), emails from 123greetings.com (the perils of forgetting the dreadful tick boxes when I sent an ecard using them), a gazillion emails from Heart (and its sister radio stations - grrr), too many emails from some dumbass or other about Acai Berries, Goji Berries, Chlamydia treatment (errr... is this an alternative treatment for wrinkles, similar to haemarrhoid cream?? ) and besides all that I win several million dollars/pounds every single day so even if I got only a quid for each time I've received one of those I'd be a bloody billionaire by now!!!

Ok, whats good about googlemail?
