The cinema was full of kids, with a band drumming at the front beforehand and dancers getting kids up to dance. I'm sure the hungover adults loved that. Stupid decision to show the Orange ad before though. God that ad is annoying.
Was there a screening today too? Mine's for next Sunday! You gave me a fright, I had to check my ticket in case I had a pair of cross cheeky monkeys next week (not mine).
hey, you're still going to rio. ....you're not an animated bird.

I am really looking forward to seeing this on Sunday.....am such a big kid! lol Wonder what, if anything they'll have for the kids beforehand, haven't mentioned that bit or the free popcorn to the kids just in case!

Anyone know what parking is like at North Finchley, have not been there before?
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Parking is no problem there and it's free! There is a bowling alley, swimming pool and restaurants in the same complex so there is loads of parking.

On a Sunday morning you will have no trouble.

Im looking forward to see this more after seeing the newer trailers, im surprised the orange advert hasnt made me loath it to high heavens yet but I guess thats the perk of no trailers with free films ;)

Nice seeing fmukers today.

Really enjoyed this film. It very predictable and funny but better for kids. I really liked the pedro and his friend, they were funny.

Loved this film! The graphics were gorgeous, loads of detail in the feathers etc, very colourful and I think they made very good use of 3D (which I have found to be a bit unnecessary in some things lately).

Nice original story, funny, songs and set pieces very enjoyable. Loved the monkeys and the bird with a bottle-cap hat. Actually it made me want to go to Rio!

Very pleased to run into some FMUKers for the first time. Sorry I couldn't stay for the Q&A, would love to hear what it was like.

Finally those Orange Rio ads can now go away...

They must have shipped in the weather from Brazil today, London was sunny and hot! Enjoyed the film, very colourful animation, some cute and funny characters (evil monkeys!), a lot of samba and dancing, the story itself is nothing special but the kids will love it, and there was a little adult humour in there too. As usual, 3D is hardly noticeable, although some of the flying scenes were good. I'll say 7/10 for this one.

I couldn't stay for the Q&A either, if anybody did, let us know how it went.
