next week, its the Foo Fighters and Faithless, Aru, at selected cinemas. The Foo one is a documentary plus concert.
ahh i was invited to the foos one a while ago for the rec co but not a huge fan, prefer the prodigy. i might go to the faithless one though... i want to see how it compares to seeing them in real life as they make my insides dance as well as my outsides!

Yes, it was, thedude. I really enjoyed it, although the sound wasn't okay. PL played the entire Draconian Times album, and some of their most famous songs from other albums in the encore. I sang from start to end, so now I've got a sore throat. :D

Ghost was better than I expected, but they looked kind of silly dressed as clergymen.

Glad to hear you had a good time! I think I've seen PL 3 or maybe 4 times, Astoria in '96/97 (?) is the one I always remember as a great gig...

And I'm curious about Ghost, a lot of people are raving about them, guess I'll have to wait and see them for myself at some point.

It was my 7th Paradise Lost gig. :D

Speaking of gigs, are you going to see My Dying Bride at the electric ballroom next month? I need to get myself a ticket.

Wow, 7 times! Die-hard fan! I'll have to trawl through their albums on Spotify to catch up on later stuff... Same with M.D.B., I remember them and Anathema being very slow and heavy when they first appeared, then I lost track of them both, I know they had some line-up changes.. I'll have to think about that Ballroom gig, sometimes there's just so much going on, and then all these free events too, it's hard to choose.

Next up for me is that Bullet and Enforcer gig on Monday, with Tuesday already pencilled in as the hangover day.. :D

In all fairness, I did win tickets to one of the PL gigs, and I went to 2 other PL gigs mainly because I wanted to see the support bands (Samael and Anathema + M.D.B.).

Now that I think of it, I've seen Moonspell more often than PL, but that's just because I know them since they first started. They played a lot of small gigs (which were often free) in my home town.

Have fun at the gig, thedude! \m/

Just checked the dates for that Ballroom gig, realised I'm away that week so can't go anyway! A lot of free gigs at the moment, Old Blue Last and the Unicorn have some good stuff on sometimes...
