Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
tell you what looks awesome.
Forget overpriced festivals in the UK. Exit festival in Serbia for less than £100. And the lineup could rivals some of Glastonbury's. Grinderman, Arcade Fire, POrtishead, Deadmaus, Underworld.
I am seriously thinking about renewing my passport.

I have heard from friends who've been to Exit Festival that it's fantastic, and people there are really nice, so why not?

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
One or two sets would be ok, but a whole festival where brass bands try and out-do each other, plus cheap alcohol I imagine... That's one major headache in the morning! :)
Btw, I travelled back in time last night.. total 80s timewarp!

Not sure if any of you have heard of a band called Revere, they are awesome! I have seen them three times now and each time they amaze me. You can check them out at www.myspace.com/reverelondon.
Revere incorporate violin, cello, keys and trumpet into a guitar-led souns, combining elements of gypsy songs, funeral marches, kiezmer, post rock, film scores and gospel producing a dramatic orchestral soundscape. moving from tiny, music-box openings through to heart-wrenching melodies to epic finales.
If you fancy giving them a chance, they are playing on 14th April at the Rhytham Factory, 16-18 Whitechapel Road, London E1
www.rhythamfactory.co.uk
Tickets are £7.50 and the will be playing alongside The B of the Bang and Her name is Calla. I havent heard any of these two's music but if it is anything like Revere I'm sure I will like it a lot.
So anyway... am not promoting them on behalf of anyone but myself. They are a really great band!!

Bullet/Enforcer/Skull Fist..... good turn out for a Monday night, all cliched and recycled stuff but lovingly reproduced old-school metal, and such good fun.ucakpam wrote:Remind me again which gig you saw last night?
