I saw this last night at bluewater. Full cinema.

I thought it was good but not one i'd watch again. I still so prefer the original.

RB was quite funny at times but he didnt have the midas touch for me.

Loved Helen M in it as usual.

6/10 for me on that score.

Saw this last night at Westerhailes Edinburgh. I was not impressed with Russell Brand and his squeaky voice irritated me. Cannot like him at all in any film or TV appearance I have seen him in so did not "bond" with the character Arthur. Helen Mirren was okay in it but afraid only 4 out of 10 for me.

We were on our way to the premiere tonight, then entire Jubilee line broke down, so had to give up. Would have got there late going by overground & bus... Effin' Greenwich O2

Judging by reviews though, maybe I've dodged a bullet? Kudos to the London Underground lady who refunded our tickets with no drama, so it only cost us a bit of time. Now seeing it Thursday...

I like the original, but also like Brand so went in with a fairly open mind and...

I thought it was rubbish. The only laughs were when Brand slipped out of character and delivered one liners which he could just as easily said on stage or a chat show hosts couch.

Helen Mirren is classy as usual, but as the scale grows (batmobile, grand central station) the laughs and the charm diminish.

That's awful. You could have also gone to see Thor instead.

Glad you got your money back.

Anyone back from the premiere yet or was it another one of those late starts?
Apparently Helen Mirren swore on TV this morning??
