It's the next day, on saturday 26th March, which is the weekend when we lose an hour's sleep. I'm trying to decide if that's a good thing or bad.

maybe losing the hour is good, you may only be doing 23 hours instead of 24?.

I used to get really annoyed when out clubbing that when the clock went back, you didn't get an extra hour dancing. However when the clocks went forward, you got an hour less

I'd love to go! Wish I was nearer. Well looking forward to hearing about it and seeing your pics.
If I could get a cheap train down from Edinburgh I would!

Going to bed extra-late tonight in order to sleep through tomorrow in preparation. It's going to be awesome - the only thing missing now is green hair spray!

I got an email today from some competition organiser, saying someone's cancelled and email in quickly and first one to email back gets the tickets. I was just beaten to the punch by someone else.

That seems a bit unfair getting everyone's hopes up like that for one pair of tickets. Surely it would have been fairer to just randomly select another entry?

The Dark Knight was amazing at The Imax, and we had fantastic seats right in the middle. Wierdie you are going to love it. Slightly annoying black blobs on the screen floating around (like floaters in your eyes) and the power cut out about 35 mins before the end but apart from that it was fabulous.

RIP Heath

Sorry I've been away from this forum for a while (not deliberately!). So not sure if I'm late with my comment, weirdo. I had done sevaral all-dayers and all nighter's in my life and whilst you do feel tired at the end (and probably sleep all day next day), if the films and buzz around you are estatic as most of my experiences at all nighters, you'll be just fine! I envy you because I dont think I can do such a thing again without drowsing off! I used to do all nighters at the Prince Charles Cinema and the Scala. My last one being at the Scala when they showed Predator 1, 2 and Aliens 1,2. Shortly after, they closed down because they showed Clockwork Orange which at the time was banged. It was a shame, that cinema had character and um...freedom! People even used to have a splif in there (not that I um condone it, you hear, say no to that kind of stuff!) and whole auditorium would be smokey and noisy but fanatic at the films being shown. When Arnie comes on screen with a one liner, there would be a cheer or on several chinese movie nights, people would shout "Face" when Chow Yun Fat makes a mean stare or "Shape" when Jackie Chan lets rip a classic move etc. I hope Beate aint reading this, she'll have a heart attack.

An all nighter of Burton and Nolan's best Batman movies...at the Imax...wow, I envy you, you're going to be in good company, fella. Have a great night, you aint gonna feel sleepy at all, trust me. If anything you'll end up hyper.

I think my personal record for most films in a row was a Star Trek Marathon at the Empire Cinema when Generations was released. That was from 9am to 1am, 1995. Then 2nd, all 6 star wars film again at the Empire in 2005, my last all dayer. If there is a Harry Potter marathon, I think my mind and body will still be up for that ;) But I think I am defintely way past doing all nighters!

One more thing Weirdo, dont go to sleep during the day on Sunday, try do active stuff then go to sleep at around 7pm-8pm so you dont totally mess up your clockwork, its how I used to do it. Aint healthy mind you but its just the one offs!
