The best performance by far is Lord Farquaad.

He is Nigel Harman (Dennis from Eastenders)

www.theatremonkey.com:
For "Shrek" row AA is the front row in the centre block, row A in the side blocks. The stage is very low for this show, and those in the front row won't crane at all to see it. The monkey does note two things, though: first, row A 0 and 24 have practically no legroom at all, and second, younger children and those under 5ft 8 or so will struggle to see past any taller adult in front of them in rows A to C at least.
Moving back another row, another reader says,
"We had stalls B9 to B15 which were superb seats. Had to look up slightly but we didn't lose any of the view from where we were. You really get to "feel" the atmosphere from these seats and the orchestra is well "hidden" below the stage so again no problems. 3 children aged 8 to 10 years did find the booster cushions provided useful."

If there were children's boosters seats, I either didn't see them or they ran out very quickly.

It was actually quite frustrating as the 2 children sitting in front of me couldn't see over the adults in front of them so they kept standing up to see the show. Their parents would tell them to sit down, then they would stand up again and for part of the show they were sitting on their mum/dad's lap. Everytime they moved, I had to shift position to be able to see. It is not a theatre designed to make it easy viewing for little people.

I must say that the children were very well behaved during the performance I saw but that was a Saturday matinee. They may be more restless during an evening show.

There wasn't many people so may have spotted you depending where your seats were, I was in row G which was a teensy bit close but good view, haven't been to the Lyric in ages. The stairs were really effective and was really impressed.
Yes, we went to the matinee and were sitting in row F on the right, just behind the only 2 people in row E.

You better believe it, on Tuesday May 31 the cast of SHREK THE MUSICAL®, including Amanda Holden as Princess Fiona, will perform live on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent!

In a Britain’s Got Talent first, judge Amanda Holden will swap the safety of the judging panel for the stage, joining her SHREK THE MUSICAL® co-stars for a live performance of classic hit, ‘I’m a Believer.’

Amanda said: “I think one of the most important things when you‘re on a show like Britain’s Got Talent and judging other people, is to be willing to stand on the stage and put your own self up for judgment. Next Tuesday, the audience along with my TV colleagues Simon, Michael and the Hoff will be sitting in judgment of me. I‘m just praying they don‘t use their buzzers!”

Ah, I was sat behind you! There were 3 or 4 people just behind your seats, I was the one closest to the middle (though is easier to notice people in front of you than people behind you I know). I wasn't p*ying too much attention but if I recognise you again at a screening I'll say hello!

Thank you for all the details! Yes they have booster seats in Theatre Royal Drury Lane. I was getting quite a few for kids when we went to see Oliver! in the same theatre. I guess just not enough for a matinee.... I hope to be quick !!! we got matinee tickets as well!

Yes, please, do! I was so tired and almost late when I got there that I only had a very brief look around whether I saw anyone I knew and did not really register the faces of the people behind me.

We went to see Daisy Pulls It Off at the Lyric in Hammersmith yesterday. It was an excellent production, quite up to professional standard. Great set (with the Harry Potter staircases as others have mentioned) very funny, a bit rude(!) (which nobody else has mentioned). Only two men (and one played Daisy's Mum as well) so nice to see a lot of young actresses enjoying themselves.
Hard to pick out a star because they were all really good, though Daisy had an enormous amount of script to learn. All the main story and the little side issues were performed extremely well with great comic timing.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, thanks again to cliveas for the posting.
