It will be open by the time the screening is due. Infact, it's opening soon I think - there is a comp for the Stratford one on the generic cinema tickets thread.

I know that the company is called Westfield but surely they could have called the Stratford shopping area and cinema 'Eastfield' and avoided confusion. Having 2 Westfields is very silly but I am boringly practical.

LOL But that would mean changing the company name! I assume it's an Australian company as there are a lot of Westfields there (several in some cities too) and they're just all called the same, no matter the location.

It's Vue there I think, are there often Vue previews? I think I mostly go to Odeon and Cineworld for those and sometimes Picturehouse.

Well there is a competition for it that PXC found for which they will be holding a screening of it so I wouldn't be surprised if it does further screenings of it later. Plus they need to let people have a feel of whether it's worth p*ying to see a film at that cinema. Vue tends to be slightly more expensive than others and there is a Picturehouse in Stratford which is within walking distance of the Vue so they do have some competition.superhero wrote:The new one is open today!
