Hereafter?
Ahahaha, that's getting a lot of negative feedback from both sides of the Atlantic. Boring, morbid and only partly decent.

For Best Picture I imagine it'll look kind of like this:
127 Hours
Black Swan
The King's Speech
True Grit
The Social Network
Toy Story 3
Inception
The Fighter
Never Let Me Go
(Shock announcement that the Academy know is more good deed than possible winner)
That one could be Winter's Bone, Blue Valentine, Conviction or if it turns out to be good and not It's Complicated, How Do You Know.

I am on a campaign to beat Beate at predictions this year!
Go ahead, make my day - by visiting my blog: http://jacobthehobnob.wordpress.com/

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Um, not for the movie, as I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed Airbender for its story, action, great soundtrack and outstanding visual canvas. I just find it more fun to join in bashing it ;) But I will nominate Shyamalan for worst director Razzie as the film is ruined by truly dreadful acting and dialogue which Shyamalan is responsible for, not the actors. I still hope they make the sequels Earth and Fire, though I suppose that's unlikely.

Well, The Social Network's in pole position for Oscar glory... it's won Best Film and Best Screenplay at the LA Film Critics Association, as well as joint honours in Best Direction and Best Score.

Much deserved in all said areas.
Top 50 Poster!

Replace Never Let Me Go with Winter's Bone and you have the line-up tbh. Also, Black Swan is still on uneven footing. Black Swan, Winter's Bone, The Town and The Kids Are All Right are probably in competition for the last two spots.

Golden Globe nominations will be announced today and will be some sort of an indicator, but I think there's only 3 films in it, The King's Speech, Black Swan, The Fighter. Maybe the Social Network as well
