Oscars 2011

#1 Post by superhero » Mon Nov 29, 2010 7:41 pm

Just been announced James Franco and Anne Hathaway will host the Oscars next year. Hmm.. I didn't know they were particularly funny or had hosting talents... and they might both get Oscar nominations too

I agree, hopefully they will pull off a good show though

You sure they are not just one of the many pairings that announce each award? Sounds really odd, these 2 relatively young stars are hosting. Billy Crystal was my favourite host, Whoopi second, Steve Martin 3rd!

I miss watching the Oscars ever since BBC stop showing it years ago. We should have a fmuk contest for Oscar predictions soon when nominations are announced :)

Do you have a VR headset? If so, maybe we can play a physical sports game or even be sports/fitness partners, hit me up if you keen.

Yeah we've had it the last 2 years and Beate is always either top or near the top!

Yes they really are the co-hosts for the whole ceremony

I like both of these people, but for a big telecast? I can't imagine it'll be all that entertaining.

Thanks, just read the article, now I can see their train of thought to bring on fresh new uprising stars who the producers believe to have the charismatic chops to host the show and more importantly the 2 stars seem passionate enough to get the gig, so good luck to them!

I hope they just have some hidden talents that we don't know about!

Well, here we are: BBC has posted a news story with their predictions. There's a VERY strong line-up this year, I'm having trouble with predictions myself.
