Nice to hear from the lovely MrG and feel free to nag me on anything and also can you tell me which rip cords to b*y please? Now that I'm getting closer to my goal weight certain areas namely my inner thighs are not toning up as much as everywhere else so want to do specific exercises for there if you know of any. Thanks so much for any input.
Wow Diane, just look at that sexy ticker tape signature, woo!!!
Sure the rip-cords...though I posted some linkss the other day, no? Dont forget what I said about how fat comes off, you cant focus how you lose that in specific areas, it comes off everywhere but at different rates in different areas of the body. That rate differs with everyone and for you, perhaps the inner thighs is the slower area of fat burn. Continue the...ahem..last leg of your fat loss journey and you'll find those final stubborn areas looking leaner :)
However, if you mean toning/strengthening the muscle groups, then yes by all means, add more toning exercises to those desired areas that you wish to see definition but still maintain a balance of exercise for your whole body muscle groups to maintain that gorgeous body shape, coordination and balance that you have so far brilliantly achieved :)
Give me a few minutes to find the post I mada with those recommended ripcords/stretchbands and also your inner thighs routine...

Re: Weight Watchers
Ok Diane, this was the post I made regards to the stretchbands and ripcords, I'll check for any updated prices
http://www.fmuk.org.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... 50#p235759
and it looks like I failed to give the link to the actual ripcords that I personally use which are fantastic. The orange and green ripcords would suffice unless you like to have a complete set but if so, just go for the 4 band intermediate set. It seems they have introduced some leg specific bands now which does look easier to use for the leg exercise. I might actually b*y a set myself and test them out.

Oh and if you do b*y a set, send them a sweet talking email to waive the postage, I remembered I did that and they waived the postage which was about £7ish.
And here is your inner thigh exercise routine using the ripcord/stretchband :)

Re: Weight Watchers
Hey, I've just been checking out MrG's excellent Inner Thigh Exercise Routine video, that he posted up for Diane.
I'm hoping that it's not an essential part of the routine to continually sniff in that gross way that Sparkpeople's Nicole does! Yuk!!
Having said that, she does seem to have fabulously toned thighs though!

What a smoothie but thanks I don't usually get compliments from hunky men
It is to tone up my inner thighs which for some reason it appears to be the bit which isn't toning up as the same rate as my other bits which as you say its just a stubborn area where I store my excess weight - I've still got a long way to go but I will get there. I thought that the link you posted was for MsThrifty who has a foot injury not for me with a fat issue
I will b*y the Ripcords that you have suggested as I want them to last and after b*ying cheap dumbbells which are fine but make my hands sweat
I did enjoy it thank you and I chopped up some strawberries, grapes and apples in a tub for us all to share so that went up and down the seats instead of a bag of sweets. I took a big bowl of salad (the prepared ones) but they weren't interested so I'll save it for another day but I did eat my quiche.Preston1990 wrote:Have a great picnic in the pictures tonight Diane - I'm sure everyone around you will be delighted when you open up that wicker hamper and start chomping along to the film dialogue. Its treat day today
Menu of the day:
Special K with with strawberries (300 calories)
Garlic sausage and salad sandwich followed by strawberries, grapes and apples and a weight watchers apricot yoghurt (400 calories)
Black coffee and a large piece of cake from KRO (this time Heaton Moor one with a different friend - my coffee and cake friend) (approx 800 calories)
I know its bad but I cannot eat any more food as the cake is so huge hence loads of salad and fruit at lunch time.
Exercise of the day:
A brisk 4 mile walk - I now need to walk after a huge cake as I will be too stuffed to sleep.
Have a fun day everyone. Enjoy your bike ride Preston and Biggins enjoy your lovely breakfast at your hotel.
I'm guessing that havingascreen maybe on her holidays already and I have got the wrong date in my mind.
