That's no reason to open a new topic in General Discussion and force me to merge it!

Was listening online yesterday and there was zero mention of the code when it went up on Twitter (had both open). No need to listen, just keep eyes peeled on Twitter.David_Jeenola wrote:Same here mate, also tried listening to Kiss FM - they are releasing codes but the host just mentioned to check on their twitter for codes so not sure they would even announce it over the radio?

I just managed to get tickets after patiently listening to kiss. They make an announcement on radio that they've posted the code on twitter, so have the Kiss fm twitter page open and keep an eye out. Good luck!

Which cinema/location did you go to where they didn't check?don_datta wrote:They said the same for Spiderman. I just walked straight in... but then I'm considerate enough to not use my phone or need to text during a film.steve9872 wrote:Security: These screenings will take place simultaneous with the London premiere and standard premiere-level security will be in operation. Bag searches will be performed for all guests. Mobile phones of any kind, any recording equipment and certain other electronic devices will more than likely be tagged and confiscated during the screening as they are not permitted in the cinema screen under any circumstances. These security measures will operate without exception. Please leave any mobile phones and other non-permitted items at home as confiscation is highly likely to take place.

well that works only if you can sneak in without passing by the electronic device detector... still I don't see the point of not handing in your phone; it's very safe, you will not use it in the screening room (otherwise they'll kick you out) and it does not take more than 5-10 minutes to get it back at the end (in reality about 3 minutes at the O2 superscreen)

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Do you reckon they will check for ID, because my tickets are in a different name?
A horse walks into a bar and the bartender asks, "Why the long face?"
A pony walks into the bar and whispers, "I'll have a beer, please." The barkeeper asks, "Why are you whispering?".
"I'm a little hoarse."

I didn't sneak in. I was swiped by a guard with the hand scanners. If I had to hand in my phone it wouldn't have bothered me at allCelini wrote:well that works only if you can sneak in without passing by the electronic device detector... still I don't see the point of not handing in your phone; it's very safe, you will not use it in the screening room (otherwise they'll kick you out) and it does not take more than 5-10 minutes to get it back at the end (in reality about 3 minutes at the O2 superscreen)
