Went and saw this at a packed Empire cinema Poole with the family. I must say we all really enjoyed it and the scenery and surfing shots were fantastic. Loved the video at the end with the real Bethany and family. o/

    I think they probably got the film right for the target audience they are going for. As others have said, a documentary would have given us more of an insight into the real Bethany Hamilton.

    Still, not a bad lifestyle if you live by the beach. Yeah, I was also very jealous of that house, the weather, the beach, the toned bodies...

    Went to see this at Wandsworth today.
    I quite like true movies. But this was lacking something for me. Not sure what tho.

    That shoddy RoA lighter stopped working after 5 minutes!

    I saw the guys with the camera and they were stopping a family in front of us on the way out for an interview - I basically ran past, LOL.
