I really enjoyed this film too! The acting was superb and it's a nice change to see a movie without any over the top action sequences or 3D. It was just 3 people in a remote place having conversations (or powerful quiet scenes). Their relationships and problems were really gripping for the audience.
However, I wasn't happy with
the bloody open ending! I hate open endings, so I made my friend make one up for me, haha.
8/10
The screening location was shit by the way. There were no canapes and champagne as promised (which was my incentive to go in the first place!), the projection was mirrored on the seat in front of me and there was a loud party or TV in the next screen over which really disrupted the largely very quiet film. Was lovely to see PXC + friend though.

Re: Your Sister's Sister
It must be where we sit. I think sitting on the left of the screen is less disruptive - as other times I sat more to the right of the screen, and experienced what you have experienced! So note to self, must remember to sit on the left of screen when at Soho House!canadian_turtle wrote: The screening location was shit by the way. Re: Your Sister's Sister
Saw this a few weeks ago and I have to say how refreshing it was in comparison to some "action" films I have viewd recently. I am not sure if I totally belived some of the storyline, but the acting was cool. Improvisation provides an edge I think.
Re: Your Sister's Sister
Though I missed the free preview I still managed to catch up with this free as I was able to see it at a Picture House and thus make the first small dent in my glut of free tickets. I did enjoy it but for me it suffered slightly from my recent over-exposure to Emily Blunt. I like her and think she's good but after 2 hours plus of Five-Year Engagement just days earlier, SFITY not that long ago and probably other films I've forgotten, I could have done with all three leads being less familiar faces.
