The difference being that your whole reason to go to a restaurant is to eat but your reason to go to a cinema is to watch a film, and if you want to bring your own sustenance, you should be allowed to.

Well they are not my rules.. they are the cinemas.. and I agree with them.. they should be allowed to maximise their profits and stop people bringing their own food in.

If you dont agree with the rules.. then thats your own personal opinion.. but its still not going to change the cinema rules

I saw this at Trocadero tonight. Oh, whoops, my breasts are out. Okay, all better now. Saw prettyxcool at the front before we made our way in. Are my nipples distracting you? Sorry about that. We got harassed by the usher before the film began for our outside food, but I'm shameless so I didn't much care. I just kept it more concealed. Ha, guess my tits are out again. Funny how that works, eh? Anyway, the film was interesting. I wasn't particularly moved, I gotta say. Excuse me a moment while I take all my clothes off. Alright, as I was saying, it was kinda funny and kinda bland. And included at least one ass too many. Anne Hathaway was fine, but I don't think the material was great. I'm not blown away by shaky hands and the one "bad day" she had. Is it getting hot in here or is it just me? Let me unbutton my shirt, try to not let my mellons distract you. I certainly don't get the hype for her in this. It seems a bit cheap to me. And I laughed at all the dick jokes, but there were still too many dick jokes. Okay, I'm gonna get serious now and put my breasts away for good. It's an entertaining flick and if you want to see a lot of tits and sex scenes, this is for you. If that's not worth sitting through an overly sentimental, typically sugary Hollywood romcom for you, it is probably a good idea to take a pass on this one. You won't be missing much, save for Anne Hathaway's tits.

I'd go 6.5/10 and an extra point for Hathaway's boobs. Afterall, there are a lot of worse ways to waste screen time.

True love changes you. But this happen neither to Jamie nor Maggie.
Attending pyjama party? Continuing to date with guys whose names she doesn't even care?
To me, this film is more about sex rather than LOVE.
And too much nudity which is unnecessary.

This is the page of the stylist with the code for the 13th dec http://issue.stylist.co.uk/1X4cfd13002b ... de/page/64

although I can't remember the last time a cinema has actually asked to see the magazine page.

Saw this at trocedero yesterday…great to see prettyxcool as always. The overzealous usher was funny, glad I managed to nab some of prettycool’s crisps before she started telling people off for eating! ;o)

I thought the movie was ok, it had some funny moments but it was way too long and dragged and had to much nudity for my liking. Jake and Ann were good, but I don’t think they were very difficult roles to play to be honest. I think this movie could have been better as the storyline was good. 6/10
Soonforgotten you are too funny, love your review and totally spot on! hahahahah

I would b*y if their prices are more reasonable. I know this is the main way for them to make their profits (rather than on the cinema ticket sales), but if they charge a more reasonable price, I think more people would b*y and hence they can make more sales and hence more profits! At the moment, prices are exorbitant, and I don't think they sell hot drinks either, or juices, I hate fizzy soft drinks.

I've particularly noticed Cineworld getting more and more militant about outside drinks & snacks, Vue and Odeon on the other hand have never stopped me taking anything in. Agree with Beate, you go to a cinema to watch a movie, not to eat and drink!
