really enjoyed this film - very entertaining and has now made we want to watch Iron Man (which I have resisted so far) and the collection of 'Avengers' films in general.

Agree though about the 3d......apart from putting a barrier between me and the film, I just find them uncomfortable to wear.....the film just did not seem to need it - and there was nothing in the actual film which seemed to benefit from the extra dimension (apart from the swirly end credits)

8/10

Oy! I just noticed that! We're actually the most sensible, non-stereotypical teenagers, I'll have you know.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

Those of you who have seen it, would you say Thor is suitable for a 4 and 6 year old?

I think so, there was absolutely no swearing, gore or sex that I can remember. Natalie Portman was fully covered which was rather disappointing. There are potentially scary scenes at the beginning for the very young involving scary looking creatures and a monster but all the fight scenes were bloodless and kid friendly imo. I think your kids may actually love it.

British Board of Film Classification gave Thor a classification of 12A. More info at the link above. Hope that is helpful to you.
