I loved and hated the start of this film. Loved it cos I thought it was really clever but I was really taken in by the panic and claustrophobia so much so that I was on the verge of leaving cos I didn't think I could stand watching anymore, I was properly starting to panic myself. glad he settled down, phew.

I agree there were a lot of contrived bits, but I was amazed at how much drama and range of emotions were portratyed by a man in a box, in fact I was a bit shocked at the end of the film when it dawned on me that the whole film had actually consisted of a man in box! I was dying for him to smash his way out though and take his chances that he'd only been buried in half a foot or so of sand.

This film has deffo confirmed by desire to be cremated, one of my biggest fears is to being buried alive (for the record I'm also scared of standing near rail lines and busy traffic cos I always think I'll have the urge to jump in front of them, the wind at night time and tinned fish -except tuna) oh and the film? 8/10.

I saw this last night with my bf, i was quite shocked we both sat glued to the screen for the whole film.
the first few minutes I did feel like shouting at the guy, but i loved the odd amusing banter on the phone to keep things a little less tense
some parts are a bit like, "okaaaay and how does that work?" but it keeps the pace going
as for what happened and the ending, one word to describe it,
Harsh.
Just goes to show what some people will do to save their own skin
7/10

I am surprised too, for good or bad, it's a film that I think people should go and watch

It was quite surreal. It meant that I could text in the cinema for once without being told off, but it still scared me, being in the dark on my own watching a man struggle inside a box.

Dear Rodrigo Cortes.
I hate you, I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you.
You are a bloody genius.
And you nearly gave me a panic attack.
Buried - 10/10 (Just, don't go if you're bad in small spaces, seriously)

see this film.

its a lesson in film making if you can hold viewers attention on a space 7 x 2 x 2 feet for 90 minutes.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Went to see this last night as Social Network was a no show. So pleased I saw this on the big screen. Only about 10 people there.

The first 10 mins you think there must be more scenes than a coffin and then you get hooked. Fantastic acting from Ryan, you could feel all his emotions.

Utter Genious film... defo a must see at the cinema!!!!!

9/10 (only lost a point because of the the chap on the phone sounding like Simon Cowell) o/

Finally caught this.

10/10

Perfectly paced, brilliantly written, directed and performed. This film may have a huge personal relevance for me (my grandfather was buried alive), but make no mistake - it's a masterpiece.
