Went to see this at Covent Garden this morning, I loved it, thought the 3D was a waste of time but all in all a very enjoyable film, 9/10 from me.

I was at Covent Garden this morning as well. Have never seen either the first 2 Narnia movies, but I didn't feel like that mattered a whole lot for this. As others have said, the 3D was far from impressive. Otherwise, it was a fine, friendly flick. I will say that unlike others, I was rooting for Eustace's demise.
I was quite pleased that he got turned into a dragon, but only wish he had remained that way.
What an awful, annoying voice he has. There wasn't anything overly impressive or memorable about this one so I'll just say 7/10 and be done with it.
102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

My friends and I enjoyed this film very much. We thought the 3D worked very well. It was good to see a film with SFX where they didn't overwhelm it. Loved Eustace and his fabulous eyebrows.

Despite suggestions to the contrary, the Glasgow showing went ahead this morning. I enjoyed the film although agree that it was predicatable in places. I thought the 3D was well done being understated rather than in your face.

Loved this film watched it at The Printworks this morning thanks to Yogi o/ . I loved the 3D it was a lovely pre Christmas film 9/10 from me. I've had a lovely day followed by the Christmas markets and the Ballet exhibition at The Lowry and just got in from 9.30am so maybe extra generous with the 9/10.

I thought the film was ok though quite predictable. I thought the boy who played Eustace was great as he played that character quite well. I am not sure I would want to see this film again as it seems that I have seen similar plots already. Wasnt sure the 3d was necessary but I guess they are trying to cash into that market.
I'd also agree with previous comments about the dialogue being bland and just a bit too cheeseball. The visuals were the best part for me, the ship was beautiful, the jewels on the island, the magicians house 8O .

Most people from Edinburgh received a message that the film was cancelled due to the weather, very empty screening! There was a short delay while they were fixing a problem with the 3D part (wish they hadn't bothered fixing it as better without it) .

Definately one for the kids and the majority of people that were there were kids sporting wizard hats. <:D

6/10 from me.

So they told you it was cancelled but you went anyway and it wasn't cancelled? So what about the email saying they would show it next weekend instead?

They never told ME it was cancelled and rescheduled, i got the tickets from someone else. Biggins did try to warn me but i didn't read the email until this morning.

Surely they should show it next week as well, they wouldn't get a very rounded opinion from the few people that were there.

Most annoyed as we could have made it to this screening and Saturday 11th doesn't suit my friend who always goes to the films with me. But the email from SSF definately told me it was cancelled!! But they did send me a feedback survey yesterday asking how I enjoyed it!!!

Have emailed the help desk to see if I can find out what the heck is going on!!
